As an author of the book, I realize that I'm a bit biased, but I believe that SIX MINUTES TO FREEDOM is a movie that needs to be made.  No matter how many people buy the book or read the book, there's no denying that more people see the biggest Hollywood flop than read the biggest bestseller, and this is a story that the world needs to see.  SIX MINUTES TO FREEDOM shows the way things are supposed to work, the way the American government and its military do work 99% of the time.  Kurt Muse is alive today because dozens of people on two continents risked their careers and their lives to help a stranger, simply because it was the right thing to do.  The men and women who played such key roles in Kurt's life represent the very best of the human spirit, and in these cynical times, I think the world needs to get to know them better.
